Welcome New Committee Members!!!
SO happy to welcome Patrick Ygnacio and Melissa Nicewarner Daly to the team! Patrick is with the Convention Center and Visitors Bureau and is a GREAT community advocate and savvy in his ability to use technology to get the word out. Melissa is with Community Impact newspaper and is out and about around town as much as her paper. She is going to be HIGHLY effective at keeping us clued in to what is going on and where we can stand out as an association. While new is always appreciated, knowledge is power and I'm SO thrilled to have our returning powerhouses - Jane, Shelley, Marianne, and Greg showed me the ropes and are invaluable to making sure things stay moving in the right direction. A bonus is having Bonnie Barrow attend our meetings on behalf of the Guild, she brings an amazing energy to the group and it's so nice to have such a direct line of communication with that committee. Welcome All to the Comm Team!
Summary of Board Retreat - I will send the minutes when they are available. Short summary would be that most of 12's events will return this year and more will be done to increase membership and fundraising efforts.
